Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education

The Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education is a state university in Namburu Guntur District Andhra Pradesh India. The university was founded as Nagarjuna University by Act 43 of the A.P. State Legislature in 1976 and is governed by Act 4 of 1991, which covers six universities in the state. It was dedicated on September 11, 1976, by then-Indian President Sri Fakruddin Ali Ahmed. 




The A.P. Universities (Amendment) Order, 2004, issued by the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, renamed it Acharya Nagarjuna University Distance Education. Andhra University established a Post-Graduate Centre as an Extension Center in Maddi Bala Tripura Sundaramma Polytechnic, Nallapadu, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, in 1976, to meet the region's higher education demands.


The distance education bureau of New Delhi has recognized this institution for open courses. Candidates can apply to a variety of certificate, diploma, degree, and postgraduate degree programs. Students must fill out all of the required information on the form. In any event, if students fill out the form with incomplete information and pay the applicable cost, the form will be denied. Only the application process will be considered successful if applicants pay the application fee.

How to Apply for ANU Distance Education Admission? 

The application date for ANU  admissions has been set on February 28, 2023. Admission is determined through merit lists and admission tests.
